This iconic Greek Diner NY Coffee Cup Candle is the perfect way to bring back the nostalgia of coffee-to-go from your favorite Greek diner.
My Papou’s first restaurant was a coffee shop in Hartford, Connecticut on Allyn Street, named Allyn’s Coffee Pot and was the inspiration for this candle.
This coffee scented soy candle comes in a 3 ounce ceramic espresso cup with a swirl of cream on top. After the candle has burned down, remove the wick, clean and use the cup as kafedaki, a demitasse or espresso cup to enjoy your favorite Greek coffee!
Hand poured in small batches in my small home studio.
Never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep away from flammable materials. To prevent smoking, and soot build-up, keep wick centered and trimmed to 1/4 inch. Keep lit candle out of drafts, flammable objects, away from children, and pets. Do not move candle when lit or hot. Stop using when 1/4 of wax remains. Do not extinguish with water. Never leave candle unattended. Use candle at your own risk.
